Polishing process for ceramic products

 

The polishing process of ceramic products can be divided into two parts: grinding and polishing.The processes and methods of the two parts are summarized as follows:

 

Polishing of ceramic products: The main goal of polishing stainless steel welding parts is to remove the welding spots and achieve ceramic products with surface roughness of R10um, so as to prepare for light release.

 

Grinding part has three processes: rough grinding, half fine grinding, fine grinding

The details are as follows:

 

1, on the way to visual inspection, the part with polishing process of ceramic products, such as whether there is leakage welding seam welding wear, solder joint depth is uneven, deviating from the seam too far, local sag, docking not neat, whether to have deep scratches, damaged, deformation, etc. In this process will be able to remedy the defects, if has the above defects should return on process modification.If there is no defect above, enter this polishing process.

 

2, coarse grinding, use 600 # of abrasive belt grinding workpiece back and forth on the ceramic products, the process to achieve the goal is to remove the workpiece welding solder joints, as well as in shangbu process, bruised to joint the rounded preliminary forming, horizontal and vertical plane basic no scratches, no collision, after this step in the process of workpiece surface roughness should be able to achieve R0.8 mm.Pay attention to the polishing process pay attention to the tilt Angle of the sand belt machine and control the pressure of the sand belt machine on the workpiece.Generally speaking, it is more moderate to form a straight line with the plane being thrown!

 

3, semi-fine grinding, grinding the product with 800# of sand belt according to the front of the back and forth grinding of the workpiece method, mainly is to modify the joints in the front process and rough grinding of the impression produced by further fine grinding, the imprint left by the front process to repeatedly grinding, to achieve no scratches on the surface of the workpiece, the basic brightening.The process surface roughness shall be up to R0.4mm.(Be careful not to create new scratches and bruises in this process, as such defects cannot be repaired in the following process.)

 

4, fine grinding, using 1000# sand belt is mainly used to modify the fine grain line in the previous step process, the grinding method is the same as above.The goal of this procedure is that the joints between the grinding part and the ungrinding part of the workpiece will basically disappear, and the surface of the workpiece will be further brightened. The workpiece after grinding through this procedure should be basically close to the mirror effect, and the surface roughness of the workpiece should be able to reach R0.1mm

 

5, about the replacement of sand belt: generally speaking, 600# sand belt can be polished for 6-8 pieces of 1500mm long, 800# sand belt can be polished for 4-6 pieces, 1000# sand belt can be polished for 1-2 pieces, the specific situation also needs to be based on the welding spot of the workpiece, polishing pressure, as well as the way of grinding method has a great relationship.In addition, it should be noted that the replacement of sand belt must ensure the smooth rotation of the sand belt on the sponge wheel so as to achieve the purpose of uniform grinding of the workpiece.
