Zirconia Ceramic (ZrO2 ceramics)

zirconia ceramic
Mingrui focuses on the research, development and production of zirconia ceramic structural parts, and has supplied zirconia ceramic products to many enterprises in different countries.

Zirconia ceramics, ZrO2 ceramics, zirconia ceramic with high melting point and boiling point, hardness, insulation at room temperature, and high temperature has electrical conductivity and other excellent properties.

Zirconia ceramics is a new type of ceramics, which are mainly divided into three types:

magnesium stabilized zirconia ceramics (Mg-ZrO2)
cerium stabilized zirconia(ZrO2 + CeO)
yttrium stabilized zirconia(YSZ)

With excellent physical and chemical properties, Zirconia ceramics has not only become a research hotspot in the field of scientific research, but also widely used in industrial production. Zirconia ceramics is an important raw material of refractories, high-temperature structural materials and electronic materials.

Among all kinds of metal oxide ceramic materials, zirconia has the best thermal stability and heat insulation performance at high temperature.

The main raw material is zirconia ceramic pigment, which is an important component of high - quality glaze. The thermal conductivity of zirconia is the lowest in common ceramic materials, and the coefficient of thermal expansion is close to metal materials.Special crystal structure makes it an important electronic material.

Zirconia ceramics are formed by dry pressing, isostatic pressing, injection molding, hot die casting molding, hydroforming, injection molding, plastic extrusion molding, colloidal solidification molding, etc.The most widely used is injection molding and dry pressing molding, and the highest density of products is isostatic pressure molding.

The zirconium oxide ceramic ZrOproperty:
Zirconia ceramics is a new type of high technology ceramics, in addition to its high strength, hardness, high temperature resistance, acid and alkali corrosion resistance and high chemical stability conditions, at the same time with scratch resistance and abrasion resistance, no signal shielding, excellent heat dissipation performance and other characteristics, at the same time can be processed, good appearance, suitable for mass production.Below the grinding for you to interpret the properties and characteristics of zirconia ceramics.

1. High melting point
Zirconium oxide has a melting point of 2715℃, and its high melting point and chemical inertness make it a better refractory.

2. Relatively high strength and toughness
Zirconia ceramics have a higher strength (up to 1500MPa), although the toughness and some metal compared to a large gap, but compared to other ceramic materials, zirconia ceramics in the "ceramic circle" is a leader (1-35 mpa.m1/2).

3. Good hardness and wear resistance
Zirconia ceramics have higher hardness and better wear resistance. From the specific data, the mohs hardness of zirconia ceramics is around 8.5, very close to the mohs hardness of sapphire 9, while the mohs hardness of polycarbonate is only 3.0, the mohs hardness of tempered glass is 5.5, and the mohs hardness of aluminum magnesium alloy is 6.0.

4. Low thermal conductivity and low expansion coefficient
Zirconium oxide has the lowest thermal conductivity among common ceramic materials (1.6-2.03W/ (m.k)), and the thermal expansion coefficient is close to that of metal. Therefore, zirconia ceramics suitable for structural ceramic materials, such as zirconia ceramic mobile phone structure.

5. Good electrical performance
Zirconium oxide dielectric constant is 3 times of sapphire, the signal is more sensitive, more suitable for fingerprint identification patch. From the point of view of shielding efficiency, zirconia ceramics as a non-metallic material has no shielding effect on electromagnetic signals, will not affect the internal antenna layout, can be easily formed in one, to adapt to the 5G era.
