What is the difference between the ceramic gauge (plug gauge) and the ceramic gauge?
Now many measuring instruments have many similarities, but how can we tell them apart?Next, the ceramic needle gauge (plug gauge) to explain for you the needle and the callipers between what kind of relations?
Ceramic plug gauge
The dimensions on the workpiece drawings are the ultimate dimensions that guarantee interchangeability. The ceramic gauge used to measure the workpiece size is usually made into two ultimate sizes, that is, the maximum and minimum limiting dimensions.A gauge used to measure smooth holes or shafts is called a smooth gauge. The smooth gauge can be divided into two types, ceramic gauge and ceramic gauge (plug gauge), according to the different sizes used for measuring internal and external dimensions. In mass production, the workpiece is often tested with a fixed size measuring tool, which is called ceramic gauge.
Ceramic gauge
The ceramic gauge is used to measure the dimensions of the workpiece such as cylindrical, rectangular and polygon. The most widely used form of the gauge is shown in figure 1.If the shaft drawing size for 80 mm ¢, maximum limit of size of the gauge: 80-0.04 = 79.96 mm minimum limit of size is: 80-0.12 = 79.88 mm gauge of 79.96 mm at one end is called go side; The 79.88mm end of the gauge is called the end. When measuring, if the through end of the gauge can pass the workpiece, and the end can not pass the workpiece, the workpiece is qualified; If the through end of the gauge can pass the workpiece, and the end can pass the workpiece, it means that the workpiece is too small and has become a waste. If both the through end and the end cannot pass the workpiece, it means that the workpiece is too large and unqualified and must be reworked.
Ceramic needle gauge (plug gauge)
Ceramic needle gauge (plug gauge) is used to measure the workpiece hole, groove and other internal dimensions. It is also made into the maximum limit size and the minimum limit size. The end of the minimum limit size is called the through end, and the end of the maximum limit size is called the end. Commonly used ceramic needle gauge (plug gauge) has a cylinder at both ends. When checking workpiece, the qualified workpiece should pass through the through-end instead of the end.
